Individual Retirement Account (IRA)

No question about it, the time is now to start building for your future. And the quality of your retirement depends on how you plan today. A Pacific Advantage Federal Credit Union IRA is a smart place to start. Look at many of the reasons why…

  • Earns competitive rates
  • Low minimum deposits to get started
  • Your account is fully insured up to $100,000.
  • Low annual fee of just $12.00

An IRA is a savings account that helps people save for retirement and can offer tax advantages. There are several types of IRA’s available, we offer the traditional IRA.

Since the IRA is designed for retirement, there can be a penalty for early disbursements.

You may also incur additional taxes upon early withdrawal, so consult your tax advisor for more details.

Do you expect to be in a lower tax bracket when you retire?
Then a traditional IRA might be best for you. When you begin your withdrawals, they’ll be taxed at your current tax rate.

Do you want to choose when your withdrawals start?
You must begin withdrawals with a traditional IRA by age 70 and a half. With a Roth IRA, you choose when-and- if withdrawals start.
